A fire resistant PF 152 mullion – transom curtain wall system. The system is classed for curtain wall fire resistance in full configuration. It is classed as EI60 and EI30 after inside and outside heating tests. The system offers fire resistant curtain walls with glass or non-glass intermediate floor solutions. Fire resistant EI30 or EI60 single or combined glass units, used as transparent panels, are available on the market in a wide range. Reinforced internal aluminium profiles with fireproof fillers and special mullion – transom connectors ensure proper load-braring capacity in case of fire. Swelling tapes protect the thermal plates and insulate the connection between the structure and glass units or other non-transparent panels, contributing to increased fire resistance. If necessary, fire resistant single and double sash doors can be fitted in the curtain wall.
